All three of the problem pages for starters have very feminine coloration's and therefore you can see straight away that the target audience that these pages are aimed at are female. For example pinks and purples have been used, light blues and reds, which are all colours we would associate with women. The images that have been used on all three of the problem pages are all very women based as they are either of women or things related to females e.g. baby’s, or a handsome man (Dr.Christian Jessen, from embarrassing bodies) therefore from this you can already tell whom it is aimed at.
The type of writing method used is almost in formal as it is as if it is a mothers meeting and they are all chatting away very casually giving each other helpful advice and tips for example problem page 1 is there to try and support and help women with problems either with children or family members. With problem page 2 it is also very similar as page 1 as it is about family problems and trying to give mothers support. In problem page 3 it mainly focusses on how to keep healthy and embarrassing medical problems to give advice to women who do not want to go to their doctors or star on TV.
All three have strap lines about advice for example problem page 1 has a strapline of page 2 has 'family dilemmas’ and page 3 has therefore this shows that these pages have all been made to help the reader and give them comforting advice which is both helpful and to the point but as the same time friendly. The way the magazines have done is both through the friendly chirpy images used and the calming happy colours around the text boxes and the whole page.
Pages one and two both have comforting openings on the left hand side asking the reader if they have any problems, which lets the reader know the page has been made to help. From all these points the target audience can clearly be seen as firstly females, and secondly it is clear that it is aimed at women from 30 and
upwards as the pages are mainly talking about family life and situations.
On problem page three they have a celebrity clinic so that the reader feels in touch and on the same level as that certain celebrity almost to let the reader know they have something in common with the A list life. Although this is not the case for pages 1 and 2 showing that maybe the magazine that features page three is a bit more gossipy and popular to mums and women.
In conclusion to these reviews all three pages are aimed at women with families who need help in civil dilemmas or medical situation which they are concerned about or too shy to go to their local do.
